The Artist of Fun

These early paintings are all from areas in central California. Come join me for a  stroll through times past.

The Fisherboy

Because much of Central California is high desert,  a boy who finds a stream is a lucky boy, indeed.

The Old Gas Station

This old "one pumper" not far from where I live softly spoke of a simpler time.  Shortly after I painted it, it became a hamburger stand.

The Parade

The large geese at a nearby park control the area (or at least think they do) and here proudly clear the parade route for some newborns.

Tomboy

I think the girl was about eleven years old and more than ready to challenge the boys' domain.  Simple pleasures, great fun.
